Incense Used In The Bible – A Brief Overview Of The Tradition

When you look into incense in the bible, you will see that it is used for different purposes. Some of the things that are listed under incense in the bible are stones used for casting off demons, garlic which was used to kill snakes and scorpions and frankincense, which was used to cast out demons from the nostrils of a person. Incense was also used for cleaning the house and for scaring away wild animals. As you can see from this little bit of information, incense does not just have to be used for protection or cleansing.

There are many sacred objects that were made using incense. Among the most popular of these sacred objects are the three Kings that fought in the Bible, Jerusalem which is the holy city and the Ark which was under the mountain. In ancient times, the Ark was a sacred temple where many ancient tribes prayed to the gods for their survival. The three Kings were honored on this day by being placed on top of the mountain to guard it from evil spirits.

You may wonder, how does the holy incense work? Well, the religious groups that made this sacred product knew how to use natural products like frankincense to protect themselves from evil spirits, while using products that would release negative energy for the other people present nearby. They knew that incense burns clean and would appease the spirit guides whenever they walked among the people who would burn incense within their temples. Frankincense, which is usually made from frankincense and marjoram, has been said to aid those who need protection from enemies, or from depression or mental disorders.

It is interesting to note that the three Kings mentioned in the Bible never came back to the city of Jerusalem after their defeat at Masada. They instead went down south to Egypt and joined up with their army friends. When they arrived at Moab, their enemies had already beaten them and they were not allowed to enter into the city of Jerusalem. They did however, capture Moab and put their camp there. They returned to Jerusalem after a couple of days and again faced massive enemy attacks. The people in Jerusalem assembled their forces again and they did beat their opponents; however, they were not permitted to enter into the Holy Land because the Romans had taken control of the region.

We see a similar story when we read about the ancient peoples and the temples they built in their honor. The leaders of these tribes had incense used within their temples to cast out negative energy and help them fight off any bad spirits or demons that might be a part of their environment. This incense helped them stay strong and fend off any negative energy that came to them. They also carried fragrant oils with them so that every time they stepped outside they could smell the sweet fragrance of their perfume. These leaders believed that these oils would release positive energy for them to have strength and courage.

In order to do what the Bible authors did use incense and spiritual cleanse. Incense allows us to focus our attention on the spiritual world. It is said that during a spiritual cleansing the spirit guides us through our every thought. Through prayer and with the use of incense, we can cleanse our minds and spirits, allow the good to enter our world and gain courage and strength.
